Description of service

Welcome to the Demo-center Sustainable 5G and Edge/Cloud Computing, where we offer the opportunity to enter the 5G network and its enabling technologies.


Under the expert guidance of experts, participants will be able to appreciate the benefits brought by 5G and Edge computing technologies in a practical way through the presentation of some Use Cases and the experimentation of innovative services.


It will also be possible to explore the future directions of the evolution of the mobile network (6G), explore their opportunities and evaluate their impact also in terms of environmental sustainability.


Finally, we offer the opportunity to touch advanced tools for testing 5G solutions thanks to the presence at the S2N Lab of an advanced testbed, based on dedicated software and hardware and designed to be able to host multiple experiments at the same time.

 

For each of these it is possible to emulate a complete dedicated 5G network and manage both physical and virtual resources with a Metal-as-a-Service approach.
